We were travelling and stopped in Chattanooga for lunch.  After a little exploring of downtown, we stopped at the Kitchen at Union Square.  We don’t know anything about Chattanooga so we didn’t have any recommendations.  We were very pleased by this place.

The staff was great.  They were friendly and helpful.

For appetizers we had the butternut squash soup and it was very good.  For our lunches, we had the Black & Blue Salad and Union Burger.  The Black & Blue Salad was outstanding.  The Union Burger is a cheese burger with an interesting bacon jam on it.  We do not like sweet sauces on meats, but this was not sweet.  It was more tangy and worked well.  The only complaint we have was the burger was a little dry.

We don’t get to Chattanooga often, but if we do, this is a place we would eat at again.
